My two ninjas
On the first Monday in September, I had the pleasure of bringing my camera to with me to watch J and Busy at their ninja gym. Watching them train is inspiring to show what hard work can lead to.
Busy was an absolute star on the swinging rings. Her agility and focus were mesmerizing to watch as she glided from one ring to the next with precision and grace. She made it look effortless, though I know it took countless attempts and a lot of perseverance to master. Each swing seemed to reflect her growing confidence, and I couldn’t help but cheer her on (and snap a few action shots, of course).
J, on the other hand, was locked in a battle with the salmon ladder. It’s a notoriously tough obstacle, requiring a perfect combination of strength, timing, and technique. Watching him give it his all, trying to nail that explosive pull-up and move the bar to the next rung, was both heartwarming and a bit funny. While I’m not sure he made it up even one wrung, what mattered most was his relentless effort. Every attempt was a testament to his determination.
What stood out most was their shared work ethic. They tackled every obstacle with energy and persistence, supporting each other along the way. Their dedication and enthusiasm are contagious. These moments—captured through my camera lens and etched in my memory—are reminders of how hard work and perseverance can turn any challenge into an opportunity for growth.
