A Special Day Watching G Shine in Dance
As a dad, it’s always a gift to witness your kids doing what they love, and recently, I had the privilege of attending my middle daughter G’s dance class. There’s something incredibly special about seeing your child in their element, and I couldn’t help but feel proud as I watched her dance with such joy and passion. Here are a few of the highlights from my day watching G shine:
Tap Dancing Fun
One of the most exciting moments was seeing G in action during her tap dancing segment. The rhythm, the energy, and the precision of the steps were incredible! Tap dancing has always been such an expressive style, and watching her glide and tap her way across the floor brought a huge smile to my face. You could tell she was having the time of her life, and her enthusiasm was contagious. It’s clear that she’s not only mastering the technical aspects but also enjoying every beat of the music.
Graceful Bar Work
Another highlight of the class was watching G do her bar work. There’s something so graceful and disciplined about this part of her training, and it was amazing to see her focus and strength. From the way she moved, it was clear how much effort she’s putting into perfecting her technique. Seeing her grow and improve in such a precise and demanding form of dance left me in awe.
Worship Dance with Friends
Finally, I had the privilege of seeing G do something very special: worship dance with her friends. This was a truly moving experience. There’s something so powerful about watching young dancers express their faith through movement, and seeing G and her friends come together in this beautiful form of dance filled my heart with pride. The connection they had as a group, and the passion they brought to their movements, was truly inspiring. It’s clear that dance is more than just a hobby for G—it’s a way for her to connect with others and express herself.
As a dad, I couldn’t be prouder of G’s dedication to her dance. Watching her excel in tap dancing, bar work, and worship dance was such a joy, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful ways she’ll continue to grow as a dancer. Keep shining, G—you’re doing amazing things!
